No. It’s Not Columbia or Harvard.
I will do my best not to be insulting. Someone posted a comment to me, on a friend's page, that, as a Jew, how could I not support Trump? After all, he moved the embassy, urged the annexation of the Golan Heights and the kicker: his own daughter is Jewish.
This person is not Jewish so I can say, without fear of insulting them, they do not know what it is like to be Jewish in Trump's America.
Can you be Jewish and a Trump supporter? Yes. You can also be a little bit pregnant. The real answer is no. You cannot celebrate your portfolio rising, or so-called military might without addressing the elephant in the room: nationalism and anti-semitic attacks.
The 'good friend' of the Jews showed up at a synagogue memorial but does not condemn the daily cemetery and building defacing nor those who bring on violence and spew Nazi slogans.
He defends white people while denigrating every other race, culture or faith. Not blatant all the time, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist or Talmudic scholar to see the underlying message.
I am not African-American but it's kinda like supporting George Wallace. . Like stereotypical jokes, racism is a cancer and you can't keep a few of its strains alive for laughs or its suits your other interest.
Those of you who are Jewish and voted for Trump, while you may have your legitimate reasons, you cannot ignore what he is perpetuating in America and you cannot be silent.
No matter what your financial or policy strength is, when this hatred continues to spread, no one will care how much money you or I have: we will all be in the same box car.
a very dear friend wrote: but you have to respect him. No, I do not. I respected George Bush when I met him at Morton's in Scottsdale. I respected GW as President though I had real issues. I voted for McCain and supported Rs who supported my bill.
I can respect those with different views but DT's views are about hate and..well. bullshit. I have no respect for this man who represents our country,
Right on Barry. Thanks for posting.
