Another bullseye! Sorry if I’ve been remiss. It’s certainly not personal. Just trying to keep my balance, while still working. Love your commentaries and vids. They keep me keeping on. 👍

I find Facebook to be a place to keep in touch with many people, those I care about in some way. I, like you, find it to be beneficial and agree that there are ways to use and abuse the tool. It's been a great way to be in touch with our POBHS folks.

So, facebook, and all social media, is a choice as with many things. I choose not to partake. I do not miss anything I don't want to miss because the people in my life who matter communicate with me via phone, text and email. I don't want the world knowing every food I eat or every thought I have on all things. Nor do I want to know those intimate details of 200 other "friends". Miss use of social media has been a significant factor in the perpetuation of hate and one sided thinking. It is a significant cause of the anxiety and depression we are seeing in our younger population. And, it consumes an ENORMOUS amount of people's time that they could be using for more constructive activities, including a one on one conversation with someone where you truly learn what they are thinking and feeling, not just through words, but through body language and eye contact. I don't ever see myself partaking in facebook, tiktok, instagram or whatever other platform exists now or in the future. And, I believe I am better person when not partaking!
